Onsite Childcare
Onsite childcare is available to IETF meeting participants and their families, free of charge.
The IETF LLC is pleased to provide onsite childcare for registered meeting participants.
Childcare is provided for children ages 0-10, and we have space for up to 10 children. We do request advanced registration for this service as we have to secure a proper ratio of children to care providers, as well as ensure that food and beverage are ordered in sufficient quantities. Registration includes filling out a form which goes over emergency details, day-to-day schedule of your little ones, and more.
Care is provided throughout the meeting week from 9AM to the close of sessions. We start offering care at 1pm on Saturday, and then convene with regularly scheduled hours. Our childcare team works hard to come up with engaging activities to keep your littles busy and happy throughout the week, as well as to provide plenty of toys, snacks and lunches.

Childcare registration for IETF 126 has currently reached capacity, and the sign-up link has been removed at this time. We are actively exploring options to expand availability, though we do not expect to have an update until a few weeks prior to the meeting.
If you previously registered for childcare and are no longer planning to make use of it, please notify the Secretariat at support@ietf.org as soon as possible so we may offer those spots to others. Additionally, if you are interested in childcare and have missed the signup, please reach out to the above email address so you may be placed on a waitlist. Any openings available will be contacted in the order they were received.
